Cloutfuse LLC · Kunoi
Privacy Policy
This Policy explains what information Kunoi collects, why we use it, when we disclose it, and the choices available to you.
Important: this is a working privacy draft. It must be checked against Kunoi’s final analytics, billing, retention, and vendor configuration and reviewed by qualified counsel before publication.
1. Scope and controller
This Privacy Policy applies to Kunoi’s websites, progressive web application, script builder, guided-script workspace, sharing tools, support channels, and related services (the “Service”). Cloutfuse LLC, doing business as Kunoi, is responsible for the personal information described in this Policy unless another notice states otherwise.
This Policy does not cover third-party websites or services that operate under their own privacy policies.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account and profile information: email address, first and last name, country, company, job title, and authentication information.
- User Content: scripts, stages, rebuttals, notes, magic-tag mappings, titles, descriptions, shared-script recipients, and other content you submit.
- Communications: support requests, feedback, legal requests, survey responses, and messages you send to us.
- Billing information: subscription status, plan, transaction identifiers, and limited payment details supplied by our payment provider. We do not intend to store full payment-card numbers.
Information collected automatically
- Device, browser, operating-system, language, approximate location derived from IP address, and network information.
- Log and security information, including IP address, sign-in events, timestamps, error records, and administrative activity.
- Usage information, such as features opened, scripts created, plan-limit events, and general product interactions.
- Cookies, local storage, service-worker caches, and similar technologies needed for authentication, preferences, offline behavior, security, and—if enabled—analytics.
Information from others
We may receive information when another user shares a script with you, invites you to Kunoi, or identifies you as a recipient. We may also receive subscription and transaction confirmations from payment providers and security signals from infrastructure providers.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- create and authenticate accounts;
- provide, personalize, synchronize, and maintain the Service;
- save scripts, notes, settings, and sharing choices;
- process subscriptions and enforce plan limits;
- send service, authentication, transaction, security, and policy messages;
- provide support and respond to requests;
- prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and unauthorized access;
- monitor performance, troubleshoot errors, and improve features;
- comply with law and enforce our agreements; and
- create aggregated or de-identified insights that do not reasonably identify an individual.
We will not use private scripts or notes to train a generative artificial-intelligence model unless we first provide a clear separate notice and obtain any consent required by law.
4. Legal bases for EEA and UK users
Where European data-protection law applies, we process personal information as necessary to perform our contract with you, pursue legitimate interests such as operating and securing Kunoi, comply with legal obligations, and obtain consent where required. You may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.
Our legitimate interests include product security, fraud prevention, support, service improvement, and understanding feature performance. We balance those interests against your rights and expectations.
5. How we disclose information
We may disclose information to:
- Service providers that support hosting, databases, authentication, email delivery, payments, monitoring, customer support, and analytics under contractual restrictions.
- People you direct us to, including recipients of scripts you share.
- Professional advisers, such as attorneys, accountants, insurers, and auditors, when necessary.
- Authorities or other parties when we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law, necessary to protect rights or safety, or needed to investigate abuse.
- Transaction participants in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.
Kunoi does not sell personal information for money. As of the effective date, we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that practice changes, we will update this Policy and provide legally required choices before doing so.
6. Service providers
Kunoi’s current infrastructure may include Supabase for authentication and database services, Cloudflare for hosting and security, Resend or another email provider for account messages, and a payment processor when paid plans are enabled. The final production vendor list and relevant links should be confirmed before this Policy is published.
These providers process information for us under their own contractual and legal obligations. Some may process information in countries other than yours.
7. Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain account and transaction records, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce agreements. Retention varies by data type and purpose.
When information is no longer needed, we delete, anonymize, or isolate it. Deleted information may remain temporarily in encrypted backups or security logs until those systems complete their ordinary retention cycles. We should publish specific retention periods once final backup, audit-log, account-deletion, and billing configurations are confirmed.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, authentication, encrypted network connections, database policies, logging, and limited administrative privileges. No system can guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for protecting access to your email account and promptly notifying us if you believe your Kunoi account has been compromised.
9. International transfers
Cloutfuse LLC is based in the United States, and information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Where required, we use recognized transfer mechanisms and contractual safeguards. The specific mechanism for EEA or UK transfers should be confirmed with counsel before active marketing in those regions.
10. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a portable copy of personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent or appeal a denied request.
You can update profile details in Kunoi and delete scripts or notes using product controls. To make another privacy request, email legal@kunoi.app. We may verify your identity and may retain information where permitted or required by law. Authorized agents may submit requests where local law allows.
You may unsubscribe from optional marketing messages using the link in the message. We may still send authentication, security, billing, and other service-related communications.
11. Cookies and local technology
Kunoi uses local storage, service-worker caches, and similar technology to remember sessions, preferences, scripts pending synchronization, and offline application assets. Strictly necessary technology is required for the Service to function.
If we add nonessential analytics or advertising technology, we will provide any notice and consent controls required by applicable law and update this Policy and any cookie notice.
12. Children
Kunoi is intended for business users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to Kunoi, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
13. Information in scripts and notes
Kunoi is not designed to store patient records, payment-card data, government identification numbers, account passwords, or other highly sensitive regulated information. You should minimize personal information in scripts and notes and must have a lawful basis and authority for any personal information you submit.
If you use Kunoi in a regulated industry, you are responsible for determining whether the Service is appropriate for your obligations. Cloutfuse LLC does not enter into HIPAA business associate agreements unless expressly agreed in writing.
14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy as Kunoi changes. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when required. If a change materially affects how we use previously collected information, we will take any additional steps required by law.
